BTRC ready for the national final on January 21

The name of the representative of Belarus at the international song contest "Eurovision-2008" to be announced on January 21 during the live broadcast of the First TV Channel and "Belarus-TV". The broadcast of the final of the national TV music project "EuroFest" will be held at 9:45 PM. Four participants: Gunesh, Ruslan Alekhno, Po Glazam and Litesound will compete for the right to represent Belarus at the upcoming "Eurovision".

GUESTS OF THE SHOS

Winners and participants of "Eurovision" of different years will take part in the concert. The winner of "Eurovision-2003" Sertab Erener (Turkey), winner of "Eurovision-2004" Ruslana (Ukraine), winners of "Eurovision-2006" "Lordi" (Finland), winner of junior "Eurovision-2007" Alexei Zhigalkovich (Belarus) and participant of "Eurovision-2005" Natalia Podolskaya (Russia) are among the participants.

THE DECISION

A professional jury will be working during the final concert. The competent members of the jury will announce the name of the representative of Belarus at the international song contest "Eurovision-2008" that is to be held in Serbia's Belgrade. In accordance to the rules "Eurovision-2008" will consist of two semifinals (May 20 and May 22, 2008) and the final (May 24, 2008). The live broadcasting of the final of "EuroFest" project will be held on January 21 at 9:45 PM by the First TV Channel and "Belarus-TV". Denis Kurian and Vera Poliakova will host the concert. Belteleradiocompany is the organizer of "EuroFest" project.
