Minsk to prepare retaliatory tough measures in case of EU sanctions

MINSK, January 20 (Itar-Tass) - Belarus' President Alexander Lukashenko ordered the government to prepare retaliatory tough measures in case the EU introduced sanctions against the republic.

"There is one instruction for the government: if somebody tries to introduce economic or other sanctions against the country, we should respond immediately, prepare retaliatory measures, to as far as the toughest ones," Lukashenko stated at a conference over domestic political issues on Thursday.
