Caracas, Feb 19 ABN.- The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, along with members of his cabinet, analyzed on Monday joint agreements of integration and development with a delegation of Belarus headed by Belarus' Secretary of State of the Security Council, Viktor Sheiman.
Members of both countries discuss about the progress made in the agreements carried out in several strategic fields.
Venezuela and Belarus have carried out joint projects in several areas such as food, energy, heavy machinery, among others.
The delegation of Belarus has had a busy agenda during its visit in the country, such as a meeting with the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Nicolas Maduro, in which they analyzed the progress made in accords signed between both governments.
As part of the bilateral cooperation, President Chavez has paid two official visit in Belarus, the first on July 2006 and the second one on June 2007.
Meanwhile, the Belarus President, Aleksander Lukashenko, paid his first official visit in Venezuela on December 2007.
Last Sunday, 100,000 tons of milk arrived the country from Belarus and another load of milk is expected to arrive next March.
Both governments are negotiating about 1 million tons of milk for this year.
