Exit polls on state-controlled television in Belarus suggest President Alexander Lukashenko has been re-elected with a score of more than 80 percent. However, the leading opposition candidate has reportedly called for the vote to be annulled. At least 10,000 people have gathered in October Square in the capital Minsk to protest against what they see as electoral fraud.
