Need to boost UAE-Belarus ties discussed

ABU DHABI - The President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a letter from President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus.
The letter was delivered to Geneal Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces by Victor Lukashenko, national security advisor to the Belarus president.
Gen. Shaikh Mohammed and the Belarus official discussed bilateral cooperation in the context of the recent visit of President Lukashenko to the UAE. The visit culminated in the signing of many bilateral agreements in the areas of investment, culture and technology.
Gen. Shaikh Mohammed also underlined the importance of exchange of visits to boost investment opportunities.
For his part the Belarus official hailed the steadily growing relations between the UAE and his country.
He noted that his country was keen to send trade delegations to the UAE.
