Head of the 8th department of the psycho-hospital where young Belarusian oppositionist Kristina Shatikova had been kept for 3 days said that she had been brought to the hospital by the militiamen. "She was brought here by the militiamen. The application was submitted. The application was signed but no surnames were given. But it was signed. It was the order for her forced hospitalization", Alla Ustsyonisheva told, according to Khartia '97. The head of department also added that Kristina Shatikova underwent the required examination, the Telegraph reports. "We had to make the expertise within three days. So we made it as required with consideration of the weekend. If she had come to us on a weekday she would have been examined the next day", the head of department told.
Spokesman for the KGB in the Magilyou region Tatstsiana Shautsova has announced that the KGB has no information on the oppositionist's delivery to the psychiatric hospital. "The KGB has no information about that. She was interrogated and let free. And what happened then:> Tatstsiana Shautsova declared in her interview with the Radio Svaboda.
Previously Kristina Shatikova reported that when she was brought to the hospital" there were a doctor and a militiaman". "I called at once for the lawyer and the authorities because there is a regulation in compliance with which nobody can be forced to the psychiatric hospital without the permission of the relatives. The militiaman in the room swore in return and my kidnappers took him out of the room", the oppositional activist told. "They tried to take off my clothes, wash me and cut my hair. But the only response of the normal woman to such actions is to offer resistance. But they tied me up and injected with the "sibazon" medicine (as the doctors said). Nobody asked me if I could stand it. They told me that it was a tranquillizer ", Kristina Shatikova said. "In the morning there was a consultation between the doctors. Two of them were keeping silence. The others asked me who was the Young Front's head, who had planned storming of the TV center 25 March, what contacts I had with Zmitser Dashkevich, who were the youth and political leaders. In short, they talked bullshit having nothing to do with my state of health. When I asked about the medicine I had been injected with they replied that I had to answer questions and not to ask them", Kristina Shatikova said. "I intend to undergo the independent examination which will definitely acknowledge that I am healthy. We came to the hospital 27 March. We were told that when I had been delivered there the doctor -on- duty Mikalay Mischanau accepted me. The head of department who terrorized me is Alla Ustyonisheva. And the head of the hospital who is responsible for everything that is going on in the hospital is Mikalay Nestser. They are to bear responsibility for everything that had happened to me there", the oppositional activist said.
