Turkmenistan to expand cooperation with Belarus in town planning and education
Yesterday, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov met the mayor of Ashgabat city, Orazmyrat Esenov, who reported on results of a Turkmen official delegation's visit to Belarus. The visit was made as part of bilateral agreements on the visit of Turkmenistan's official delegation to Belarus. During the visit, the Turkmen delegation met Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Kasinets, heads of the construction and education ministries, Minsk city and other officials.
During the meeting partnership in the sphere of town planning was discussed. Further interaction in the area of delivery of products of the Belarusian mechanical engineering industry to Turkmenistan was specified. Those products include production and servicing equipment, lifts and lift equipment for tall apartment buildings. The sides also agreed on cooperation in the sphere of education. It was agreed that higher educational institutions of Belarus will participate in personnel training for various sectors of Turkmenistan's national economy.
