Talks on gov't loan to Belarus to begin soon
RBC, 07.03.2007, Moscow 13:11:04.Belarusian delegation will arrive in Moscow next week to discuss Russia's government credit to Belarus to finance energy supplies, Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak told journalists today. According to him, this matter will require in-depth analysis, especially in defining the goals of the credit. Storchak pointed out that Belarus had asked for a stabilization loan to finance the country's federal budget to help cover higher expenses on energy supplies. He also said that the sum was considerable for Russia's budget and the request itself was unexpected.
