As of February 27, agricultural organizations of Belarus prepared 995.100 tons or 80.9% of the necessary volumes of mineral fertilizers for the spring sowing campaign as opposed to 51.9% of fertilizers volumes at the same date of the previous year, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
Such high volume was reached at the expense of exceeding of planned supply volumes of potash fertilizers: as of February 27, agricultural organizations prepared 645.500 tons of potash fertilizers, an increase of 14.1% compared to the necessary volumes.
Agrarians also prepared 253.600 tons of nitrogenous fertilizers (50.4% of the necessary volumes as opposed to 58.4% in the previous year) and 87.000 tons of phosphoric fertilizers (56.9% as opposed to 30.2% in the previous year).
