Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Dmitry Medvedev are set to meet in the state residency Rus in Zavidovo on March 19.
The presidential press service informed that the agenda of the meeting includes over 20 issues, including discussion of the implementation of the resolutions of the Supreme State Council of Belarus-Russia Union State, the issues of the trade and economic cooperation, joint measures to counter the impact of the global financial crisis, collaboration in the fuel, energy and financial spheres. The two presidents will also consider the issues of military and military-technical cooperation as well as cooperation in culture, reported Belta.
Close attention will be given to the international issues of current importance. The presidents are expected to consider the current state of industrial cooperation between Belarus and Russia and the issue related to the supplies of products of the Belarusian engineering industry to Russia.
