CHILDREN from Chernobyl are fighting for their summer trip to Scotland.
Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko banned some overseas trips after a girl refused to leave the US last summer.
But campaigners here hope to overturn the ban for victims of the 1986 nuclear plant accident.
Lisa Brown, chair of Chernobyl Children Lifeline, said: "The conditions children endure in Belarus are terrible.
This visit is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for them."
