The Russian Foreign Ministry is wary of the way the trial of two Russians is proceeding in Minsk.
The men are charged with involvement in riots that followed the presidential elections in Belarus last December.
"After the previous court session, when the charges against Artem Breus and Ivan Gaponov crumbled before our eyes, we expected that their court prosecution would be terminated", - says a Foreign Ministry statement. Unfortunately, things took a different turn.
Nevertheless, Russia hopes for objectivity and a fair verdict, conforming with norms of international law, says the statement.
