Belarus is considering plans to export electricity produced by the future nuclear power plant to the EU, in particular to Poland and Lithuania, Deputy Energy Minister Mikhail Mikhadyuk said Wednesday.
The officials said that the construction of the infrastructure for the nuclear plant is under way in the Grodno region.
Belarus is to build the nuclear power plant with 2.4 MW capacity in the Grodno region in cooperation with Russian companies.
The agreements to that effect will be signed on March 15.
