Apr 27, 2008 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- -- The forth session of the Kyrgyz-Belarus Interparliamentary commission, which took place in Bishkek yesterday resulted into signing a trade-economic cooperation protocol. The commission examined the joint work of the two countries in 2007 and discussed prospects for 2008. The 11-member-delegation headed by the Belarus deputy prime minister Ivan Brylev arrived in Bishkek yesterday. The main topics discussed during the session were cooperation in such issues as agricultural vehicles? park upgrade, industry development, tourism, transport, sport, education and culture. The session participants have also defined the date of the next, fifth session of the commission. The delegation members have visited Kara-Balta auto-repair plant, where Belarus intends to launch tractor assembling industry. Today the plant?s car-park counts about 24 thousand tractors, 95 percent of which are completely worn-out. ?The first lot of 20 tractors is expected to be produced by the end of 2008,? Arstanbek Nogoev, the Kyrgyz Minister for Agriculture, Water and Processing industry said.
