Belarus Expels Unspecified Number Of US Diplomats

MINSK, Belarus (AFP)--Belarus Wednesday said it was expelling an unspecified number of U.S. diplomats amid an escalating diplomatic row over alleged human rights abuses.

The head of the U.S. mission "Jonathan Moore was handed a note by the Foreign Ministry and given a list of American diplomats who have been declared persona non grata and should leave the territory of the Belarus Republic," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
