Belarus will accept Russia's help in investigating the explosion in the Minsk metro according to the president of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. He made the announcement at an emergency meeting in Belarus.
The head of state did not rule out that the explosion was organized "from outside", but said that they still need to check all of the military ammunition stores.
President Lukashenko said the KGB chairman will be responsible for investigating the incident, and said that it was necessary to find an adequate answer to the "very serious" threat to the country.
According to the president, in the explosion in the subway station "Oktyabrskaya" in Minsk on Monday evening 11 people were killed and over 100 injured.
