KIEV, April 5 - Ukraine could enter the Customs Union formed by Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan in July, Valeriy Muntiyan, said the Ukrainian Cabinet's special envoy for cooperation with Russia, other CIS countries and the Eurasian Economic Community.
"A treaty creating a free trade zone with the CIS is expected to be signed in May, and in July, if there is an appropriate decision of the Constitutional Court and all of the procedures inside the state are finalized, we will be able to join the protocol on the establishment of the Customs Union," Muntiyan said in an interview with the Kommersant Ukraine newspaper published on Tuesday.
