Belarusian national PTO Beltelecom has reduced internet access rates for telecoms operators and subscribers, effective 15 April 2007, it said in a statement. Prices have been cut by 10% for businesses using dial-up services, while the cost of unlimited 24/7 internet access to the operator's 'byfly' product has also been reduced by a similar amount. Last year the incumbent cut its internet access rates three times: the cost of a dedicated line fell by 27%, bandwidth services by 40%, and dial-up rates by 12.5%.
