MINSK. May 19 (Interfax) - The issue of delivering Russian S-400 and Iskander missile defense complexes to Belarus will receive a positive solution, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha told journalists at the Milex 2009 show in Minsk on Tuesday.
"I am positive over the possibility of shipping S-400 and Iskander complexes to Belarus," Bordyuzha said, noting that this issue "will be looked into and decided on in the near future."
There is a joint exposition of CSTO member states at the Milex 2009, he said. "The exhibition of defense enterprises from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Armenia, which is underway today in Minsk, is a significant event for the CSTO. Business partners are discussing various issues including deliveries of Russian arms to Belarus," he said.
