TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran's Trade Promotion Organization Spokesman Alireza Shojaei said the country's exports to Belarus have been raised by 21 times from 1998-2008.
The amount reached 333 thousand dollars in 1998 but it then totaled 7.55 million dollars last year.
The exports mainly involved car part, car, pick-up, dried grapes, dried pistachio, carpet, drugs, date and figs.
Also the Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization and Belarusian ambassador to Iran had stressed signing a free trade agreement to boost bilateral exchanges and facilitate commercial cooperation as they last met in Tehran.
