Belarus harvested 7.4 mln tonnes of grain

As of August 18, grain harvests in Belarus totaled 7.41 mln tonnes, as opposed to 6.76 mln tonnes to date during the previous year, according to the Main Department of Plant Growing of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

The average yield totaled 37.6 c/ha.

Belarusian farmers harvested grains and legumes on 1.94 mln ha, or 84.4% of sowed areas. As for the remainder, the government planned to harvest 80% by August 20.
