India, the largest potash importer, is interested in joining an auction for a stake in Belarus state-run potash producer Belaruskali, Belta news service said.
India wants to work with Belarus on growing crops, the Minsk-based government news agency said, citing Ramesh Chander, the south Asian country's ambassador in the Belarus capital.
Belarus First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko has been invited to an Indian energy conference in October and the auction may be discussed during the visit, Belta said.
