The voter turnout during the elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus was rather high, Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Lidia Yermoshina told a press conference in Minsk on September 28, передает БелТА.
The CEC head remarked, the voter turnout in urban and rural constituencies differed substantially. The lowest voter turnout was registered in the Svisloch electoral district of Minsk ї 57%, Shabany electoral district of Minsk ї 58.6% and Borisov town electoral district ї 58.7%.
Meanwhile the largest voter turnout was registered in the Vitebsk rural electoral district ї 94%, Polesie electoral district ї 94.5%, and Lyuban electoral district ї 93.9%.
