MOSCOW, November 8 (Itar-Tass) -- President Dmitry Medvedev on Monday, November 8, submitted to the State Duma the treaty on the development of military-technical cooperation with Belarus.
The document was signed in Moscow on December 10, 2009 and regulates arms supplies for the national armed forces, law enforcement and security services of the two countries.
Such supplies have to be made under contracts signed with authorised organisations of the two sides, without issuing licences for the import of military products.
Under the treaty, military products include arms, military hardware, works, services, results of intellectual activities, including exclusive rights to them (intellectual property), and military-technical information, as well as any other products, works and services that belong to military products under the laws of either party.
