Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Agayeva / Belarus has offered Azerbaijan joint use of their air space.
Under the joint program on scientific-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus, the two countries can cooperate in the development of the space information communications system, Nikolay Patskevich, the Belarusian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, said in talks with journalists.
According to Patskevich, Belarus has been working a long time on the establishment of a space objects management centre. This work is currently carried out with Ukraine and Russia and now Azerbaijan may also join this project.
The first meeting of the Belarusian-Azerbaijani Council on scientific and technical cooperation will be held in Baku next year to discuss possible cooperation next year. The council will also consider the organization of new joint scientific project within this sphere, he said.
