MOSCOW, December 20 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia and Belarus have signed a loan agreement, by which Belarus will receive a 1.5-billion-dollar loan for a period of fifteen years. Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin and his Belarussian counterpart Nikolai Korbut put their signatures to the document.
Russia next year will consider the possibility of extending to Belarus another two-billion-dollar loan next year, First Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, said on Thursday.
"The presidents have given us an opportunity to study and consider the possibility of extending another loan. We are to look into the possibility of a two-billion-dollar loan during next year," Kudrin said.
