CARACAS, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and his Belarussian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko, held a meeting here Friday on boosting bilateral cooperation.
Lukashenko arrived Thursday for a three-day official visit to Venezuela. The visiting president paid homage at the National Pantheon to Freedom Fighter Simon Bolivar prior to meeting with Chavez.
Chavez said he and Lukshenko will seek establishment of a joint venture to produce trucks for mining.
The two countries have signed cooperation agreements in a number of sectors, including energy, mining, technology, agrobusiness and petrochemicals.
