The 35th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Belarus-Russia Union State will take place in Minsk on December 16, BelTA learnt from the PA press service. At first the session was due to December 9.
The agenda of the session has not been changed. Vesting the parliamentarians delegated by the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus with authorities will remain the major issue.
The Parliamentary Assembly consists of the equal amount of people from Belarus and Russia: 36 parliamentarians from each country. The House of Representatives have 23 seats, the Council of the Republic - 13.
The session is also supposed to consider the measures for eliminating defects in the development of Union State programmes and the budget performance. Besides, the Union State parliamentarians will discuss the plans of the international activity in 2009.
