The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, suggested signing documents on formation of the uniform economic space of the Customs Union states within one year instead of the planned one and a half years. The President of Belarus informed during an informal meeting of the CIS leaders taken place in the Almaty area on Saturday, Kazakhstan Today agency reports.
"Belarus insists on signing all the documents on formation of the uniform economic space within one year. The documents are ready," he underlined.
A. Lukashenko also said, "Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan informed that they have been working over the projects and are ready to join the Customs Union".
As informed earlier, the leaders of the CIS states signed during an informal meeting a participatory action plan on creation of the uniform economic space. The plan assumes creation and signing within 18 months of 20 prime international contracts, which will be signed in two packages.
