Three Russian banks will place Belarus's state bonds on the Russian market and will loan Minsk over 200 million dollars, Russian news agencies reported Wednesday.
Russia's Vnesheconombank, Gazprombank and Alfa-bank will place Belarus's state bonds worth up to 15 billion rubles (over 500 million dollars) in the Russian exchange and would loan the impoverished neighbor state six billion rubles for over a year, the Vnesheconombank said in a statement quoted by Interfax.
It would be the first time foreign state bonds were placed on Russian market, the statement added.
